Questions
Mostly about space, weather and whether it will actually fit through the gate. Straight answers below. If yours is not here, message us and ask.
As early as you can for a weekend, particularly through spring and the lead-up to Christmas. We only own a small number of units, so a Saturday in peak season generally goes to whoever asks first. If you have a date in mind, send it through and we will tell you straight away whether it is free. There is no obligation in asking.
A deposit. Until money moves, the date stays open to anyone else who asks, which is not us being difficult, it is the only fair way to run a small amount of stock. Once the deposit is paid the date is yours and we will not offer it to anybody else.
A small deposit secures the date, with the balance due before or on the day. Until the deposit is paid the date stays open to anyone else who asks.
Delivery, setup, styling and pack down. We arrive, install it, make it look how it looks in the photographs, and come back afterwards to take it all away. You are not assembling anything and you are not cleaning anything.
The castle with slide starts at $440, with the ball pit balls $469, and with the water slide $499. The bubble dome starts at $380. Every one of those includes delivery, set up and pack down.
We are based at Mount Nathan and cover the Gold Coast. Tell us your suburb when you enquire and we will confirm whether you are inside our standard delivery area or whether a travel fee applies.
Delivery is included across the Gold Coast. Anything more than about forty five minutes from us may carry a small delivery fee, which we confirm before you book rather than adding it at the end.
More than the castle itself. An inflatable needs clear space on every side for the anchoring and a safe run-off, so allow roughly a metre around the footprint, and check what is overhead. Low branches, washing lines, verandah eaves and power lines all matter. Send us a photo of the space when you enquire and we will tell you what fits.
Tell us before the day. Units are carried in rolled, but there is a limit, and a standard side gate is tighter than most people expect. We ask about access width on every booking for exactly this reason. If it will not fit we will tell you honestly and suggest something that will, rather than turning up and discovering the problem with your guests already arriving.
Yes. It changes how we secure it, not whether we can do it. On grass we peg into the ground. On a hard surface we weight it with sandbags instead. Just tell us which surface it is going on when you book so the right equipment is on the truck.
Often, and it is the best answer to an uncertain forecast. Indoors needs enough ceiling height and a power point within reach. Halls, garages and function rooms all work. Let us know the venue and we will confirm.
Inflatables run on a blower that stays on for the whole hire, so we need a standard power point within about twenty metres of where the unit is going. We bring the leads. If there is genuinely no power available, say so when you book, because a generator has to be arranged in advance and cannot be organised on the day.
Light rain is usually fine. The castle has a covered roof and stays safe when damp, so we set up as planned and you keep a towel by the entry. If heavy rain is set in for the day we call you that morning, early, and you choose between moving to another date or cancelling for a refund. Storms or lightning and we will not set up at all, with a refund and no cancellation fee however close to the day it is.
Because it is the genuine safety risk. An inflatable is a large light structure, and the hazard regulators care about most is one becoming airborne in a gust. Rain makes a castle slippery and the day less pleasant. Wind makes it dangerous. If conditions are outside what is safe we will not set up, and that is not a judgement call we will negotiate on.
Yes. We watch the forecast in the days before and ring you on the morning if it looks doubtful, so you are never left guessing. Moving your date is free and we hold your original price even if you move onto a busier weekend.
Pegged into grass, or weighted with sandbags on a hard surface, at every anchor point the manufacturer specifies. We check for underground services before driving anything into the ground. The blower runs on a residual current device and is positioned away from where children are playing.
Yes. An adult needs to be watching the inflatable whenever children are on it. We set it up, show you how it works and go through the rules before we leave, but supervision on the day is the hirer's responsibility. It is the single biggest factor in nobody getting hurt.
Cleaned and inspected between every hire, which is not a throwaway line when the product is white. Anything marked or damaged comes out of service until it is dealt with. If a unit ever turns up looking less than it should, tell us and we will make it right.
It depends on the unit. The bubble igloo suits younger children, and the castles take everyone from toddlers right through to adults, which is why we ask what age the birthday is for when you enquire. It is the fastest way to make sure you end up with something everyone will actually use.
Nothing matches that. Try another word, or ring us on 0452 464 454.
